SILO Brooklyn Celebrates Opening with a Private Launch Party

SILO Brooklyn, NYC’s newest music venue, gave Exron a sneak peek of the space at its long-awaited industry launch party.

Brooklyn recently welcomed a new venue SILO, which promises to offer an intimate yet unparalleled nightlife experience. This latest addition to the thriving warehouse scene opened to the public on February 11th for its highly anticipated debut event, CIRCE.  Prior to the event, Exron was fortunate to witness the venue’s soft opening at a private launch, leaving expectations high for SILO’s success.

Located in the heart of Brooklyn, SILO offers a spacious venue spread over two floors. With a capacity of up to 500 guests, SILO promises to provide a high-energy atmosphere for partygoers. The club features high-caliber sound and high-contrast lighting systems, creating a vibrant and immersive environment to storm the dancefloor. The venue will host weekly resident DJs and guest performances, along with monthly themed parties such as “vinyl-only” nights.

Despite its recent launch, SILO’s origins trace back well over a decade ago. Co-creators Lilly Wolfson and Alex Neuhausen previously managed Secret Loft, an underground party series housed within a Brooklyn auto garage. Starting in Greenwich Village, it gradually grew into a wide-ranging series including circus, aerial performances, comedy shows, and DJ sets.

It’s wonderful that as friends and business partners, Neuhausen and Wolfson can continue shaping their creative vision by taking over the converted East Williamsburg hangar that is now SILO. The opening of SILO marks a significant milestone in the development of the Brooklyn club scene. Undoubtedly, it will become a hub for artists, music lovers, and those seeking long-lasting connections in the community.

The co-owners expressed excitement about the opening, emphasizing hope it will allow like-minded individuals to share their love for music. The club’s unique layout and prime location will undeniably make it the go-to spot for an unforgettable night out. Furthermore, its dedicated management and high-energy atmosphere promise to make SILO the hottest new destination for ravers in the city.

All in all, SILO will certainly raise the bar for nightlife in Brooklyn and offer a new level of excitement and sophistication to the club scene. With new acts popping up every weekend, run (don’t walk!) to check it out.  For more information on SILO’s upcoming events, click here.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now. I have always had a knack for writing and the power of words, which I continued cultivating through a Philosophy degree in college. Now, I am finishing up law school and hope to merge my passions by working in the music industry. I am an avid traveler and am certainly not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My next bucket list items to attend are Tomorrowland in Belgium and ADE in the Netherlands. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists include Franky Wah, Kevin de Vries, Eli Brown, and John Summit.
