Sharlitz Web Channels the Power of Healing in Spider Lily EP on SSKWAN

An aspiring producer, Sharlitz Web, uses healing to help with her latest EP, Spider Lily, released on December 1st.

Following Sharlitz Web’s recent WAKAAN release, Spider Cider, the aspiring arachnid-inveigled producer returns to SSKWAN with a new EP titled ‘Spider Lily’. This EP is the second released by upcoming electronic music producer and DJ, Sharlitz Web. She entered the scene with one mission in mind. Certainly, that mission was to influence the spread of deeper love through deeper venom-like frequencies. This bass superstar has captivated her fans by tangling listeners into her web. She gives listeners a mix of liquid basses, dark melodies, and combination beats in all her tracks. Hence, she perfectly alters low, heartfelt beats into something with more of a mystical vibration.

With the latest EP, Sharlitz continues to perform what she is best at. So, in her new EP, you can hear just that. She intertwines listeners into a rich atmosphere of downtempo beats.  The downtempo beats mesmerize you as they shine as the apparent body of work. The downtempo beats combine with a display of endless sounds tied in with basslines fluctuating in tempos. The EP invites listeners to embrace and feel what’s under the surface in each of the three tracks written from pure emotion.

Overall, the new EP features three tracks for fans. The tracks are ‘Therapy’, ‘Dark Places’, and ‘Hold On’. The songs bring you a sense of calm with the melodies taking you in. When asked about her latest EP, Sharlitz gives listeners a look into what went into making it. She states “I wrote this EP in the midst of a tsunami wave of emotions that arose around the anniversary of when my sister had passed. I started feeling her more with me and her trying to uplift me through all of these emotions. As I was writing ‘Spider Lily’ I just kept crying these happy tears that came from a place of light and love. This EP symbolizes my rebirth when she was taken.” 

This EP is truly a beautiful work of art, taking inspiration and sorrow and creating it into a masterpiece. In another quote, Sharlitz also gives us a glimpse into her inspiration behind the EP. She mentions “Inspirations behind this are drawn from Charlesthefirst and his ability to create a safe space for his listeners. That’s what I want, is a safe space for my listeners to let go— To be vulnerable and open-minded to healing, therapeutic music and allow yourself to submerge deep enough to rise out of whatever it is that’s hurting you.”
