Breakthrough Duo GoodDay Share Energetic Single “Collide”

Rising duo, GoodDay, sets a precedent for a new sound in dance music.

The Florida-made duo, GoodDay, teams up with Melodia to release their exciting new track, “Collide.” Originally written as an R&B song, best friends and partners, GoodDay flipped the track into an upbeat club track ready for any occasion. 

“Collide” is the first release of 2022 for the duo, and they are showing no signs of slowing down. With the success of their EP, ‘Highs & Lows’ releasing late last year, GoodDay is demonstrating their quick evolution with their sound. With the unique approach to their newest single, they are dubbing the term, “Hyper EDM” to encapsulate their style. 

“I guess what inspired the song was wanting to create a musical landscape that captured how I felt after hearing the music. The song is about colliding, like meeting someone so randomly in the universe; you never know where or when you might collide with someone, and they change your life forever.” – GoodDay

With the growth of the duo increasing, they’ve managed to be found on some of Spotify’s most prominent EDM playlists— such as TECHHOUSE 2022, EDM Hits 2022, and Chill Electronic | Chill EDM. Additionally, their latest EP got them to hit #7 on Spinnin’ Records Talent Pool chart.
