Kill Paris Announces Final Album and Introduces New Project, Hobbie Sound – [Read]

The multi-instrumentalist producer will deliver his last album under the name Kill Paris.

After putting out music under the name Kill Paris for nearly one and half decades, Corey Baker has announced that he will be releasing his final album within the beginning of 2022. This project, titled ‘Beginning Again,’ will act as a closing for Kill Paris and an introduction to his new work, Hobbie Sound. 

Baker’s journey as an artist has been something fans of his have loved seeing— from his breakout days as a pure dubstep producer to someone making funk tracks with a keytar. People have witnessed the evolution of his artistry and can appreciate the growth that Baker has shown. 

Artists from across the industry took to the comments to show support for Baker’s decision. Dom of Big Gigantic, Haywyre, and XIE all let him know of their appreciation for his work and have lots of love, regardless of what he makes.

Taking this next step in his journey can be difficult to accept, but many are able to see the possibilities that await Baker’s upcoming sound. Without any indication of how this upcoming album will be, we will all have to wait to hear what’s to come.
