Tsu Nami Recruits Luma For Infectious New Single “Dream About You” – [Listen]

LA Based Sophie Pak, pka Tsu Nami, returns to San Holo’s imprint with bubbly new single on her 22nd birthday

bitbird favorite Tsu Nami has been on everybody’s radar since the release of “Party” earlier this year. The fast-rising talent has amassed nearly half a million streams since the release and captivated the attention of music lovers with her unique music fusion. Returning to bitbird with another impressive offering, “Dream About You” with Luma only continues to build Tsu Nami’s sonic vision.

On a fast track to success, young Korean-American producer has tripled her Spotify following this year, played various gigs acorss the country including Splash House, and earned beloved internet support going viral on TikTok. Additionally, Pak is activist for equal rights within the dance music community and hopes to inspire other women to claim their space in the male-dominated industry. 

Tsu Nami commented on the track, “I stumbled upon a dancehall song on TikTok and the rhythm was super addicting, I wanted to incorporate some of those elements into this beat.” On the lyrics, Luma adds “​​this song is a tribute to the connections and relationships we have that don’t always last but tend to keep a certain place; sometimes it’s just time well spent and I wanted to write a song about that feeling.”

Nashville based artist Luma has built quite the venerated career as well. She has been featured on electronic tracks signed to labels such as Ultra, Monstercat, Ophelia Records, and more. Most notably, her single “Wonder” with yetep and CRAVE was recently featured in a Lexus car campaign. Each of her singles reflect feelings of yearning and raw emotion as she becomes a household singer/songwriter in electronic music.
