SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA ARE BACK IN THE STUDIO – IS NEW MUSIC COMING? – [READ]

Swedish House Mafia return to the studio and set the internet ablaze with new music speculation.

Talk of potentially new Swedish House Mafia music has been making the rounds lately, three whole years since their reunion at 2018’s Ultra Miami Music Festival. Ever since that groundbreaking performance, the trio have gone completely silent. Over the last several years, rumors, merch drops, and a slew of other occurrences have happened all pointing toward new music from the esteemed triumvirate.

The last few days have seen many fans clamor to make sense of a video posted to social media by the EDM powerhouse’s art director, Alexander Wessely. In the Instagram Live snippet, one can clearly hear Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso’s voices in the background of a studio alongside what appears to sound like new music. Avid fans and eager listeners of the critically acclaimed group have long speculated that new music was in the works, such as their unreleased tunes “Underneath It All” and “Frankenstein” with A$AP Rocky, both of which sent the internet reeling.

The same day Wessely posted his Instagram Live, Swedish House Mafia’s manager Max Holmstrand also posted an Instagram Story featuring everyone in the same studio, further inciting conjecture from all sides. Make sure to catch the video below!
