Rusko Reworks PLS&TY’S “Rebel Love”

PLS&TY has enlisted dubstep pioneer, Rusko for a remix of his self-released track “Rebel Love”. Miami-based artist PLS&TY released his sensational single “Rebel Love” back in December, which peaked at #1 on US iTunes Electronic Charts. Rusko provides a wobbly rendition of the track, amping up the bass.

Rusko uses his distinctive sound to give “Rebel Love” a funky twist. The remix holds onto its roots, including the captivating vocals. Rusko’s take is immediately recognizable upon the first drop, with his signature dubstep wobble sound. The familiar whistle and fun upbeat hum synthesizes flawlessly with PLS&TY’s groovy tune.

Tommy Leas, better known as PLS&TY says, “Rusko was one of the artists that sparked my obsession with electronic music many years ago. He was also one of the first electronic artists I saw perform live. Rusko remixing my work is undoubtedly an honor.”

Leas is making waves in the electronic music scene that are hard to look past. His feel-good sound is often recognized by upbeat melodies and alluring vocals. The release of “Rebel Love” follows his breakout sensation “Good Vibes,” the track that put the young artist on the map. “Good Vibes” also landed him a licensing deal with Universal Music Group.

As far as new music, 2019 is looking fruitful for PLS&TY. Fans should also look forward to his upcoming festival performances, which will include Electric Forest, Shaky Beats, Summer Camp, Backwoods, Firefly, and more.
