Walker & Royce Drop 10-Track Sophomore Album No Big Deal on Dirtybird Records

Deep house and dance music group Walker & Royce have released their new sophomore album, ‘No Big Deal.

Walker & Royce have dropped ten brand new songs on their sophomore album ‘No Big Deal’ under the popular dance music label Dirtybird Records. On this new album, Walker & Royce commit to bringing back the hype of the party atmosphere to house music. Their music will continue to embody the spirit of house music.

‘No Big Deal’ captures all of the elements that make people fall in love with dance music. The album is full of diverse voices that make up the background elements of the party. The new album features Reggie Watts, James Patterson of The Knocks, and VNSSA.

Their debut album ‘Self Help’ was also released on Dirtybird Records in 2017. Their first album came on the tails of a sleuth of other great projects that helped them to solidify their sound. Their remix of “Bright Lights” in 2015 caught the attention of fans in the underground dance music scene.

The album ‘Self Help’ explored the world of a jam-packed house party. The group expanded their sound by working with new vocalists for the first time. Featured artists included Green Velvet, Dances With White Girls, and Sophiegrophy.

Now, their newest album project ‘No Big Deal’ has thumping bass lines and smooth melodic patterns guaranteed to reverberate through the party space. Their music continues the stylistic elements of dance music coming out of the 90s underground dance music scene in New York City. The catchy vocals and powerful vocals on house tracks bring out something new on the dancefloor every time.

The album comes with the message for listeners to “live it up” in the best way possible. As we approach the summer, the album is ideal for a hot summer night under pulsing lights in Brooklyn. ‘No Big Deal’ is available now on all streaming platforms.

Hi! My name is Destine and I found a love for House and EDM through my time in the NYC dance community. My favorite thing about music is how it brings people together without having to say a word. Some of my favorite artists include Kaytranada, Kelela, Shygirl, and Uncle Waffles.
