Alison Wonderland Reveals Fiancé Directed New Netflix Hit Movie ‘X’

Alison Wonderland promotes fiancé Ti West’s movie ‘x,’ out now on Netflix.

Alison Wonderland took to Twitter to reveal to her fans that her fiancé wrote and directed the slasher movie ‘X’ released in 2022. She wrote that although the movie is ‘a bit to slashery’ for her, it is something that she recommends people to watch. The movie falls in the horror category and features a star-studded cast including Mia Goth, Brittany Snow, Jenna Ortega, and Kid Cudi.

The film follows a young woman named ‘Maxine’ along with a cast of crew young adults who gather to make a pornographic film on an elderly couple’s rural Texas property. The group of aspiring film stars find themselves threatened by the homicidal couple who try to kill them.

‘X’ is the first film of a series directed by Ti West where Mia Goth stars in the lead role. In ‘X,’ Mia Goth plays a dual role, portraying both ‘Maxine’ a young woman and ‘Pearl,’ who is the elderly property owner. The prequel to ‘X’ is a film titled ‘Pearl’, which was released shortly after ‘X’ in September 2022. ‘MaXXXine’ is the highly anticipated sequel to these films and has no set release date, but has already stirred a lot of buzz in the horror community.

Ti West is the mastermind behind these slasher films and is best known for his work in the horror genre. He has directed many films like ‘The House Of The Devil,’ and ‘Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever,’ and has quite a big reputation in the film genre for his creative approach towards gore.

Alison Wonderland and Ti West’s relationship has been fairly private relationship until the birth of their son Max and the announcement of their engagement which came hand in hand in Spring 2023.

The film ‘X’ has just been released on Netflix for the first time, and can be watched on other platforms like Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
