ARMNHMR Returns to Progressive House Roots in New Album ‘Together As One’

ARNMHMR is back with a bang as they release their rousing new progressive house album ‘Together As One’ on Monstercat.

Los Angeles-based duo ARMNHMR returns to the release radar with their latest body of work, a new 10-track progressive house album, ‘Together As One.’ Best known for their ability to innovate and keep their releases fresh, the charismatic duo has become an unwavering staple in the house music scene over the years.

In their latest record released on Monstercat, the title track “Someone to Forget” opens the album, combining warm lead vocals courtesy of Lights with an irresistible energy that cascades over percussive rhythms. The duo continues to take listeners on a sonic labyrinth that explores deep emotions in subsequent tracks like “Imaginary Friend, ” I Miss You,” and “Lifeline.”

Other standout tunes such as “Drowning” showcase a breathtaking synergy with collaborator Heleen, melding ethereal melodies with cutting-edge production into a cohesive tune. In addition “True North,” masterfully unites the duo’s dynamic creativity with the soulful vocals of Dia Frampton to paint a buoyant melody that is filled with a tinge of heartache.

In an Instagram post, ARMNHMR opened up about their heartfelt feelings while making the album. “There’s a lot songs on this album that pay homage to our roots of prog house/trance. we did this to show you we can do it. it’s what we’ve always done and its all we know. i mean, we love writing all genres and this is just one of the many layers of ARMNHMR.” Expressing their deep gratitude for the unwavering support from the fans, they also recounted the times when the going gets tough, “we were counted out/brushed off so many times but kept our head down and did things our way.”

Sonically, the latest album represents the duo’s ability to stay grounded and remain dedicated to infusing every once of creativity into their performances and production. As they continue to keep busy in the studio, the duo will return to New York next month for a highly anticipated performance, Infinite Skies at Brooklyn’s Great Hall on October 13. Enlisting other stellar artists such as SAYMYNAME, Luci, Dreamdriver, Seouliyfe, and Jomzeng, the duo will grace the stage once again in the Big Apple with their magnetic presence.
