John Summit and Dom Dolla Debut New Duo Project ‘Everything Always’ at Electric Zoo 2023

John Summit and Dom Dolla took the stage at the MegaMirage for the debut of their new B2B ‘Everything Always’ last weekend at Electric Zoo.

Last weekend house music superstars, John Summit and Dom Dolla, took over the MegaMirage at New York City’s Electric Zoo for the premiere of their new B2B show, ‘Everything Always.’ Electric Zoo had a stacked lineup this year and ‘Everything Always’ was one of the close-out sets of the wild weekend on Randall’s Island.

Having taken the house music world by storm the past few years with hit after hit, the duo combined their talents into one insane set that had the people moving and grooving for over an hour. Hosted at one of the premier festivals in the northeast, despite the hiccups, Electric Zoo still knew how to throw a party alongside the creative minds behind the Brooklyn Mirage and Avant Gardner.

From start to finish ‘Everything Always’ was a masterclass in-house. Opening up with the much-anticipated ID from Omnom and Odd Mob, “Losing Control,” Summit and Dolla had festivalgoers strap in for the ride.

The two worked cohesively blending their original tracks seamlessly throughout the evening. We heard John Summit’s newest release (and last release under his label, Off The Grid) “Fade Out” featuring MKLA, and Dom Dolla’s mega-hit of the summer “Eat Your Man” featuring pop music legend Nelly Furtado.

‘Everything Always’ was also filled with unreleased IDs from both John Summit and Dom Dolla. One of our favorite parts of any set is the new music, when is it dropping we need these beats!

In true John Summit fashion, he closed out his portion of the ‘Everything Always’ with “Where You Are,” a song that 7/10 times will bring tears to my eyes when I’m surrounded by my besties dancing in a crowd. But that wasn’t the end, staying true to his roots, and similar to his close-out at the Brooklyn Mirage in May, Dom Dolla dropped “Rhyme Dust” his hit track with MK as a teaser into the Dimension drum and bass remix to send electricity through the air. I absolutely love this track.

‘Everything Always’ was a smash and an electrifying set from start to finish! John Summit and Dom Dolla take their talents to Seattle this weekend for an ‘Everything Always’ takeover at Gas Works Park, which is sure to be another banger set from the duo masterminds.

Waiting on bated breath and hoping they recorded this set because our ears need it. Check out John Summit’s new release below.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
