If you’re not familiar with who the man behind Deadmau5 is, Joel Zimmerman is the mastermind behind the famed mouse mask. His revolutionary sound is one that has shaped the industry as we know it today, and his original iconic releases now date back 20-plus years. His autograph mouse helmet and talent for progressive house and trance music production truly make him an electronic dance music prodigy. With top-hits like ‘Strobe” and ‘Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff’ still being played by millions of listeners worldwide, the continuation of his techno alias project Testpilot, and the newest Kx5 project with Kaskade, there is no sign of Joel slowing down anytime soon.

For years, Deadmau5 performed his special Day of the Deadmau5 show for fans worldwide, but this year, he’s taking it up a notch with six shows across four cities. With shows in San Francisco, Chicago, Mexico City, and Red Rocks, we cannot wait to see what Deadmau5 has in store at each locale. Each show is set to bring a unique experience, but his Red Rocks performance is bound to be extra special. Attendees will get to groove to a mix of both his classic hits and fresh tracks, and might even get a surprise performance from a special guest or two. Last year, fans witnessed a special Kaskade appearance where the duo showcased many Kx5 tracks we know and love today. So there’s a chance we might see a repeat appearance or even catch Rezz taking the stage for some Rezzmau5 action.

If you’ve been lucky enough to catch a Day of the Deadmau5 show before, you’ll know they’re something out of this world. His Red Rocks performance last year left fans in awe, so his return this year is sure to be just as memorable. This Dia de Muertos celebration definitely will be one for the books, and you definitely don’t want to miss out. You can grab your tickets now for either night here. My name is Emilee Gabbard. I currently live in sunny Orange County, CA. By day I am a project manager working in the aerospace industry, but by night a music blogger for yours truly, Exron Music! I have been writing for Exron Music for around eight months now and cannot wait to see what is to come throughout the years. At festivals and clubs, you will find me at any house and techno stage supporting my favorites Eli Brown or Dom Dolla, or belting every word to Porter Robinson tracks wherever he performs.
