After revealing that he is battling cancer at the beginning of June, Michael Bibi has confirmed that the first round of treatment has gone well.

Michael Bibi is currently going through treatment for CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer. Last week, he finished the first round of treatment and remained hopeful writing, “Your energy has given me faith again.” The electronic music community has shown Bibi incredible support throughout this process, giving him their support and best wishes.

After completing the first round, he shared the news that the tumor has reduced. Bibi captioned the post, “New look for my birthday [emoji]. 1st round of treatment is complete & tumor has reduced by 40% [emoji]. Not at Glastonbury as usual this year but today’s news is a small win which is enough for me this Bday weekend. X.”

In the community’s minds, this is a huge win for the producer. He shared the update on his birthday to which fans and other artists sent him birthday wishes and celebrated the news. Deborah De Luca, John Summit, and other producers commented on the post, letting them know that they are there for him.

Since he shared the news, people have come together to show support with art, hashtags like #GetWellBibi, and more. When Solid Grooves began their Motel Casino residency in Ibiza, the team dedicated the opening to their Bibi, their founder. The support has continued to pour in, showing the impact that the artist has on electronic music

The good news following his first round of treatment is keeping those around him in high spirits. Bibi has shown optimism toward his diagnosis and cancer treatment, reminding fans that he appreciates their care. We are hopeful that the rest of his journey progresses positively.
