Michael Bibi Turns To Instagram to Announce He’s Experiencing Further Health Issues Following Ongoing Tinnitus Scares.

UK-based DJ/producer Michael Bibi was recently forced to cancel a wide selection of upcoming performances due to his ongoing tinnitus health-related issues. The news of his upcoming show cancelations was shocking to fans, but prioritizing his health is detrimental to the long-term success of his music career.

Yesterday, Bibi posted a video on Instagram explaining his most recent hospital encounter with his doctors. On top of his tinnitus diagnosis, it turns out that his ongoing health issues seem to be due to a larger neurological concern. He expressed, “I’m doing alright. Long story short, I had some tinnitus and they did a bunch of tests on that but it turns out it’s more of a neurological problem within my brain and the brain stem. So yeah, the doctors don’t know exactly what’s going on or what it is yet but I’m in the hospital now and they’re doing lots of tests and hopefully, I should get some answers soon and get to start some treatment and then get back out there.”

The Solid Grooves label boss has been open about his tinnitus diagnosis ever since he initially found out about it, and has since continuously promoted the importance of ear protection at shows and festivals. His tinnitus and ongoing health issues have had a tremendous impact on his ability to do what he loves most in this world, but the highly-appraised musician continues to remain positive and express gratitude amid this unfortunate situation.
