Sullivan King Sings Screamo with One-Year-Old Son Macallan

Screamo is alive and well with Sullivan King and his son as he belts out the new single for his third studio album, Thrones of Blood

Sullivan King has a proud dad moment accompanied by Macallan, his one-year-old son while recording a track for his new album. The beloved genre-bending musician dropped his first single, “Pure Evil, in 2014. With a countless number of singles to follow. Then on October 2019, he released his debut studio album, Show Some Teeth. Throughout the years he’s worked with artists like Papa RoachSubtronics, and Kai Wachi.  

On February 27th, a few days after his newest single was released, Sullivan gave followers a behind-the-scenes moment of the recording process. “Gotta teach the babies to sing n scream while they’re young!” his IG Reel read. The video begins with him greeting his one-year-old baby boy Macallan as he playfully tosses him in the air. Subsequently, capturing an enduring energy exchange between father and son

With Macallan in his arms, Sullivan smiles at the camera and prepares himself to sing with his son. As he delivers the first lines, curiosity ignites within Macallan, as he inspects the mics pop filter. Joyfully creating alongside his father a few giggles ensue. As Sullivan adjusts his headphones and gives a little “boop” to his second child. His clean harmonic vocals transform into screams of the title of the track.

The song at hand is in collaboration with Excision. Moreover, numerous commenters showered the moment with admiration and praise. Sullivan’s wife, Madeleine, exclaimed, “My beautiful boys!!”

Last year on September 29th, six months after Macallan was born, Sullivan shared a YouTube video about his birth. From the beginning, he was very transparent about the circumstances his wife and child endured as he was on tour. After receiving a phone call that his second child was four weeks early, right before he was about to take the stage at B2B with SVDDEN DEATH

Due to flight schedules, he wouldn’t be able to fly out till 5:30 am after his performance at 1 am. Consequentially, while on stage, he receives the update on Macallan’s delivery. Despite, everything he shared the news with the crowd, and performed his last song. Sullivan is most def a performer but foremost a killer dad and an amazing husband.
