Chris Lake Drops Highly-Anticipated Coachella Tribute “In The Yuma” ft. Aatig

After years of patiently waiting for “In The Yuma,” a Coachella tribute by Chris Lake featuring Aatig, commences streaming this month.

Chris Lake announces the release of the long-awaited eminent ID, “In The Yuma,” a Coachella Tribute featuring Aatig on Black Book Records. The British-born DJ and producer paved his way into the electronic dance world in 2006 with the single, “Changes,” featuring Laura V. Since then he’s had an illustrious career touring, performing, and creating with numerous renowned artists.

Nevertheless, he alluded to the release of, “In The Yuma,” after a fan’s tweet concerning the song in October. Last week he followed up via Instagram with the official release date for this adored track. The post captioned, “11.11 is the lucky day 🙂 v excited to announce that ‘In The Yuma’ (ft @_aatig) WILL INDEED be coming out November 11th on @blackbookrecords! ?.”

From that point, fans were ecstatic about the song’s release, “Nothing like the 2019 Chris lake Yuma set❤️‍?,” commented one follower. The two-minute, 36-second track begins with an upbeat tempo matched with the dynamic vocals of Aatig. The song’s infectious nature encapsulates the essence of the Yuma Tent at Coachella 2019.

The following year in 2020 the world was hit with Covid-19 creating a global pandemic that ceased live music. During that time Chris took part in an Amazon Music #TogetherAtHome session. While streaming live on Twitch he created the beloved song, “In The Yuma.” He considered this, “the best thing I did in the pandemic.”

Chris went on to say, “one of the best memories I have from that time is making that track.” The song can officially be streamed or downloaded on November 11th or pre-saved here. He released multiple collaborations, this year alone, with Grimes’ AI girl group NPC, Sosa, The Weekend x Swedish House Mafia, and UK producer Cloonee.

2022 also included a hefty tour commencing in Europe. Then concluding in the U.S. with stops at EDC Orlando, Holy Ship Wrecked, and Decadence Colorado. On Saturday, November 12th, the following day of the track release, Black Book Block Party will take place. Chris will be performing at The Midway in San Francisco with special guests, sure to be a memorable event.
