Oliver Heldens has provided insight into future releases during recent interview with Mixmag Netherlands including collaborations.

Oliver Heldens, the prominent bass house electronic dance artist, has fully embarked into the world of techno with great success. The Dutch DJ and producer has commonly been recognized for his innovative house and future house sounds. But, with his new alias, Hi-Lo he has expanded his musical horizons, which was beautifully crafted in the latest Mixmag Netherlands magazine.

In an interview with Mixmag, Oliver Heldens talks about his new venture into the world of techno. He also expresses his enthusiasm for creating “harder, more aggressive, and faster” tracks while still staying true to his musical roots. He even goes into depth of future beats to come where he mentions some solo and collaboration projects.

Additionally, he reveals more about the evolution of his alias as well as the back story. The interview not only dives deeper into the story behind his new project but even gives fans a glimpse into some releases in the future. And, let’s just say the list of collaborating artists surely is jaw-dropping.

Oliver has worked with the fellow rising techno start, Eli Brown on tracks previously. Much like their huge hit, Ride or Die, the artist mentions future work together. Also, when asked about future releases, he states “Besides some harder solo stuff, I’m working on massive bangers with Maddix, Space 92, and Eli Brown, for example. However, next month, I’m releasing two tracks that are a bit deeper and more minimal than most of my tracks. One is a solo track part of the new Drumcode A-Sides compilation, and another is a collaboration with ZHU only label HILOMATIK.”

Certainly, these huge collaborative projects with these massive names in the scene excite fans for the future! From back in 2015 when Oliver was known for his groovy bass to now, fans love his evolving sounds. So, as they eagerly await the release of these tracks, one thing is certain: Oliver Heldens continues to make waves in the techno scene. Be sure to check out Hi-Lo’s top tracks below!

My name is Emilee Gabbard. I currently live in sunny Orange County, CA. By day I am a project manager working in the aerospace industry, but by night a music blogger for yours truly, Exron Music! I have been writing for Exron Music for around eight months now and cannot wait to see what is to come throughout the years. At festivals and clubs, you will find me at any house and techno stage supporting my favorites Eli Brown or Dom Dolla, or belting every word to Porter Robinson tracks wherever he performs.
