Guide to Miami’s Art Basel 2023 Programming

Miami’s world-famous winter showcase Art Basel 2023 is back – and naturally jam-packed with an impressive lineup of music events.

If you’ve learned anything about the way Miami life ebbs and flows, there is always a major party not too far ahead.  Appropriately, Miami’s Art Basel show brings the world’s greatest creatives together every December for a weekend of immersive arts and culture. A primer of sorts for Miami Music Week, the music industry brings out a slew of world-class DJs to seamlessly complement the occasion.

While the main art events span from December 8-10, the city offers music events stretching from December 5-12 for your enjoyment. Apart from the traditional Art Basel programming at the Miami Beach Convention Center, there are a number of more niche events to look out for. And with the hustle and bustle of the holidays quickly approaching, planning a week-long extravaganza may certainly prove difficult. Fear not, however – Exron Music is here with a few special picks to help navigate the sensory overload that lies ahead.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now. I have always had a knack for writing and the power of words, which I continued cultivating through a Philosophy degree in college. Now, I am finishing up law school and hope to merge my passions by working in the music industry. I am an avid traveler and am certainly not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My next bucket list items to attend are Tomorrowland in Belgium and ADE in the Netherlands. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists include Franky Wah, Kevin de Vries, Eli Brown, and John Summit.
