Club Space Owners and Bar Lab Hospitality Reveal Jolene Sound Room Miami After Successful Brooklyn Debut

JOLENE SOUND ROOM EXPANDS TO MIAMI AFTER THE SUCCESS OF RETRO-THEMED NIGHTCLUB IN BROOKLYN.

A new wave of energetic nightlife has crashed in downtown Miami, as Jolene Sound Room expands its presence to Flagler Street. Inspired by midcentury recording studios and aesthetics from 70’s leisure style, Jolene Sound Room will focus on the functionality of sound inviting patrons to experience music that they have never heard before.

Coming to life from the minds of Bar Lab Hospitality, Space Invaders, and Link Miami Rebels – this marks the second installation of the Jolene concept, whose origin was fostered in the heart of Williamsburg at Jolene Sound Room Brooklyn.

Inspired by the “fierceness and femininity of Dolly Parton,” Jolene embraces a culture of the best of disco, house, and techno infused with a course of the international dance scene. DJ Tennis and Soul Clap are a few of the many who have joined the lineup for opening weekend in May.

The club’s collaborative concept is attributed to III Points co-founder David Sinopoli, Davide Danes and Coloma Kaboomsky owners of Club Space, and Elad Zvi and Gabe Orta who have reputations for being synonymous with service and quality in the entertainment industry.

The basement venue promises its audience will experience a one-of-a-kind sound space that celebrates local Miami music culture infused with talent from Miami’s thriving nightlife scene. Its goal is to generate a “global dance music circuit to create an idyllic dance floor for locals and visitors alike.”

One of the most anticipated aspects of this location is the custom-made sound system. Made mostly of wood, the interior and unique blueprint provides high-quality sound that engulfs the venue. Powered by Phonic Technologies, this cutting-edge sound room is spearheaded by Nicolas Matar and Scott Cuingan, who took “a holistic approach to sound design that involves the careful study of a venue’s acoustics and the selection of finishes for optimal sound quality.”

Not only will this be a space for attendees to experience a new way of hearing sound, but also feature a unique and specially curated cocktail menu crafted by no other than the award-winning Bar Lab team and beverage director Christine Wiseman.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
