Portola Festival Shares Elite Cross-Genre Lineup for San Francisco Festival

Portola Festival is back in San Francisco for its second edition with a powerful electronic lineup.

On May 17, Portola announced the lineup for the second edition of their annual festival in San Francisco. This year, the headliners will include Eric Prydz Presents Holo, Skrillex, and a special performance by Chris Lake b2b Armand Van Helden. Additionally, the lineup is stacked with both electronic and eclectic artists. This is a lineup and weekend you definitely don’t want to miss. The festival, presented by Goldenvoice is set to take place at Pier 80 on September 30 and October 1. 

For day one of Portola, you can expect acts such as Polo & Pan, Nelly Furtado, Jai Paul, Major Lazer b2B Major League DJz, Dom Dolla, Flying Lotus, Purple Disco Machine, and many more. For day two, you’ll be able to catch Labrinth, Thundercat, Carl Cox (hybrid set), Charlotte De Witte, Bonobo, Little Dragon, Todd Terje, Sam Gellaitry and so many more. 

The San Francisco festival first made its way to Pier 80 in September last year. The festival’s debut lineup featured everything from techno, house, and other multi-genres of EDM. Last year, several big names made their way to the Bay Area such as Flume, The Chemical Brothers, Fred Again…, Peggy Gou, Hot Since 82, Keinemusik, Jamie XX, and many others.

The performances will take place inside massive light and strobe-filled tents, labeled the Ship Tent and Crane Tent. In addition, a 400,000-square-foot warehouse serves as the second biggest stage following the main Pier stage which incorporates the San Francisco skyline as its backdrop.
