Mathame Unveils Eerie New Event Series Neo to Take Place at Amnesia Ibiza in 2024

Mathame has announced their first residency and NEO, a new series that will take place on Friday nights at Amnesia Ibiza.

NEO is a new project from the duo that has been set to follow their previous series, AV:SHOW. Mathame has been tight-lipped about what NEO entails, but they have confirmed that it, “…will be a unique experience of connection, almost spiritual.” The brothers have established a reputation of creating immersive audiovisual productions by combining cinematic techno with modern technology.

Mathame has revealed they are presenting NEO for eight Fridays this summer at Amnesia Ibiza. Dubbed “the home of electronic music,” the club opened in 1976 and has since become a global staple. The Italian producers have secured a set for every Friday from June 7 to July 5 and the last three Fridays of September.

The promotional pictures for the event are eerie with a black, gray, and white color scheme. One shows a crowd in a cavern as they sit in a meditation position and another has a star logo on top of storm clouds.

Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli, also known as Mathame, have been making music together for over a decade. In 2020, the pair rose to fame when their first song “Never Give Up” became an industry hit. Their debut album ‘MEMO’ was released last year and features collaborations with artists like Tiesto and Biishop.
