7 Can’t-Miss Sets at Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge 2024

Many gems can be found among another incredible lineup for Beyond Wonderland’s 2024 edition at the Gorge Amphitheater.

As Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland festival returns to the iconic Gorge Amphitheater in Washington on June 22nd and 23rd 2024, there’s no shortage of exciting DJs scheduled to take over the decks. From the aptly named Alison Wonderland to fan favorite Zedd, there’s something for everyone’s dance music tastes at the Mad Tea Party. Check out our selection of seven sets that are sure to be among the most memorable of that wonderful weekend:

Dimension (Sunset Set)

In step with his friend and collaborator Sub Focus, English DJ and producer Dimension (Robert Etheridge) is spearheading the melodic drum and bass movement across the globe. Both his heavenly emotive tracks (“Where Do We Go”) and bona fide party songs (“DJ Turn It Up”) generate the exhilarating moments of mayhem that define the best drum and bass dance floors. Throw in a sunset time slot at the Gorge, and this set is bound to send any attendee to another dimension.

Disco Lines

As the career of Colorado-native Disco Lines (Thadeus Labuszewski) continues to pick up steam, his name is starting to be circled on more and more lineups by house heads and anyone hoping to be enveloped in positive vibes. With delightfully colorful, skeleton-heavy graphics and a growing catalog of upbeat tunes – including collabs with Ship Wrek, J. Worra, and Space Rangers – any Disco Lines set is a guaranteed good time.

MELLODEATH (Marshmello + SVDDEN DEATH)

What began with a gloriously filthy remix of Marshmello’s radio pop hit “Happier” in 2018 has blossomed into the premiere bass B2B event of 2024. Their debut MELLODEATH set brought the house down at EDC Las Vegas 2023 and inspired a four-stop headline tour and a five-song EP to cement the unlikely pairing. With the unmatched backdrop of the Gorge Amphitheater, this set has the potential to be the crown jewel of this cartoonishly demonic experiment.

Nostalgix

Iran-born and Vancouver-based artist Nostalgix (Negar Hamidzadeh) has carved out a lane for herself with her unique brand of rap-centric, bass-laced house music. Her recent ‘Star City’ EP, featuring American rapper Rico Nasty, perfectly reflects the high-octane energy that makes her sets a highlight of any festival whose lineup she graces. Get there a little early for this one to be right in the middle of the madness.

Odd Mob + OMNOM present HYPERBEAM

Two young house heavyweights have joined forces as HYPERBEAM, named after a famously powerful Pokemon attack that both members hold dear in their hearts. If the duo’s first two releases, “All Day, All Night” and “Mind Awake, Body Asleep,” are any indication, the hypnotic tracks at this set will be plenty powerful enough to live up to that name. House heads unite; this one is going to be special.

Pauline Herr

American producer and singer Pauline Herr has shot up the bass and trap music ranks in recent years with her trademark mix of ethereal vocals and inventively aggressive drops. Her recent collab with NGHTMRE and Jon Casey, “In Your Eyes,” gives a taste of the roaring atmosphere that she’ll bring to her debut set at the Gorge Amphitheater.

Smoakland B2B Sippy

Two exciting up-and-coming artists in bass music will cruise into Beyond Wonderland off the momentum of their B2B tour and debut collaborative release, “Smoak & Sip.” The wubs will be flowing when the American duo Smoakland and the Australian Sippy share the stage, and many bassheads may be naming it among their favorite sets when the weekend is said and done.
