Since an early age, Alok and his fraternal twin brother Bhaskar have played music, riffing and improvising on drums, cementing a youthful passion for creating beats in the studio. Alok’s musical trajectory has never faltered from then on, as he went on to pursue a solo career at the age of 19. 

Reviewing numbers alone, Alok’s statistics have justified the epithet, Brazil’s biggest DJ. Alok has amassed over 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify, racking up over 5 billion streams. In 2022, the Brazilian DJ had been named one of Latin America’s 500 most influential by Bloomberg Linea – a respectable accolade.

Alok garnered international stardom through his plentiful shows throughout each year as well as his creative collaborations. He has remixed artists such as The Rolling Stones, Tove Lo, and Jason Derulo, reflecting his dispersed interest in music.
