Chase & Status Invite Fan Discord Channel On Stage at Brit Awards to Celebrate Producer of the Year Win

Chase & Status had won producer of the year at the Brit Awards and invited fans on stage while performing their hit song, “Disconnect.”

Chase & Status have done it again, from their unreal Boiler Room set (that rivals the popularity of Fred Again…‘s) to today with an insane on-stage celebration of their Producer of Year win at the Brit Awards. Chase & Status invited those from a fan-run discord channel on stage during the Brit Awards performance with Becky Hill.

Chase & Status, the drum and bass duo, have been around since 2003 and popped off recently with their smash Boiler Room set that garnered them some massive attention in the scene. They have had smash after smash this past year with “Baddadan,” “Disconnect,” “Selecta,” and “Liquor & Cigarettes.”

Having finally won their first Brit Award for Producer of The Year with their LP ‘2 Ruff Vol. 1,” Chase & Status needed to celebrate in style. With more and more artists interacting with their Discord channels, the duo sent a message inviting the fans on the channel to the Brit Awards to be on stage with them for their performance.

Radiating Boiler Room energy, the epic performance featured over 50 fans on stage rocking out as Chase & Status performed at individual decks behind illuminated letters of C and S, respectfully. Front and center, Becky Hill and her pipes belted out Disconnect to the crowd with the discord ravers on stage.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
