Azzecca and Husband Kye from Gorgon City Host Rare B2B Set in San Francisco

The couple headlined a show at Public Works and have released the 3-hour set on SoundCloud.

Over the weekend, Azzecca and her husband Kye Gibbon, from the esteemed house music group Gorgon City, went B2B for the first time as headliners at an intimate show in San Francisco. The couple played at the venue Public Works and performed together for three hours. The set is now available to be streamed on Azzecca’s Soundcloud page.

The two electronic music artists showcased their love for house, techno, and the darker side of dance music in a rare club performance. The tone of the performance emerged from the infusion of each other’s music catalog along with other unreleased IDs from both Azzecca and Gorgon City. In her Instagram post, Azzecca shares clips of the performance confirming that some of the songs featured in the slides are unfinished tracks that she is working on.

The California venue has seen many prolific artists including John Summit and Indira Paganotto and is expecting performances by Mau P and Innellea in Spring 2024. The collective behind the show is Opulent Temple, a San Francisco-based Burning Man sound camp that has facilitated dance events since 2003.

This is the first time Azzecca and Kye have played at the venue together and is the first time the two have played back-to-back as a married couple and dual hosts for an event in 2024.

The next time Gorgon City and Azzecca will be on the same lineup is during Miami Music Week on March 21st. Although this time, Kye will be joined by Matt Robson-Scott, who makes up the other half of Gorgon City. They are hosting a special event during the most centric dance music week in the US, and have curated a lineup with Azzecca who will be doing a B2B with DJ Seinfeld and will feature other artists like Max Styler, Riordan, and more.

Azzecca has just announced her March & April US Tour dates, stopping in cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, Las Angeles and more to be announced. See below for more information regarding her tour.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
