Barclay Crenshaw Enlightens Fans with Pop-Infused Song ‘Stay Together’ ft. TeeZandos

Barclay Crenshaw experiments with pop-centric sound on the new song “Stay Together” featuring multi-faceted artist TeeZandos.

The single fuses together the catchy, care-free vibes of a spring pop single with the angsty-heartbreak lyrics of a summer heartbreak. It is the latest piece of music giving us a glimpse into his upcoming album ‘Open Channel’. This pivot in Barclay Crenshaw’s sound is a timely release as we leave the winter months behind for a more vibrant and hopeful spring season of new music.

The song is a temporary move away from Barclay Crenshaw‘s bass sound. “Stay Together” hints at an album full of diverse sounds and experiments. Although the album is expected to return to his underground dance music roots, fans can expect breaks from his expected sound that both new and old fans can enjoy. 

The song features rapper and singer TeeZandos. TeeZandos is a promising newcomer out of East London. Also referred to as the “Princess of Drill” in the UK drill scene, her flow and lyricism has caught the attention of big media platforms like Vice and cosigns from other artists in the UK drill scene.

On her musical journey, TeeZandos has explored multiple avenues of music including rapping, singing, and producing. Like Crenshaw, she balances two sides of her artistry as a captivating MC in the UK drill scene and a calming vocalist. Her freestyle on Barry & Tim’s No Miming series was one of the first recordings to grow her fanbase for her gritty rap style. 

Her vocals on the song feature her affinity for flow along with the softness of her vocals coasting on the track. The UK drill artist’s voice compliments the soft piano strings in the song’s production along with the soft juxtaposing layers of bass and tempo that complete the springtime vibes of the pop adjacent single. It is just a peek into her wide range as an artist.

The next Barclay Crenshaw (also known as Claude Vonstroke) album ‘Open Channel’ is expected to hit streaming platforms next month. A tour across select cities worldwide will accompany the release of brand-new music. Crenshaw has embarked on 80 days of wellness and meditation in anticipation of the new journey.
