Riot Ten Drops Highly Anticipated EP ‘Hype Or Die: Ballistic’

Riot Ten, the bass genre blending Producer and DJ brings his larger-than-life to sound alive in his most recent EP, ‘Hype or Die: Ballistic.’

Riot Ten is back with a vengeance in his journey to dominate the bass music scene and has released his forceful new EP ‘Hype Or Die: Ballistic’. The powerhouse five-track EP gives backstage access to his collaborative talent with features from Emorfik, Ecraze, and Decimate. Throughout the five-track EP, Riot Ten‘s diversity of sound is highlighted by the ability to take the listeners on a voyage through his versatile talent cemented by his pulsating bass drops.

Right off the bat, Riot Ten links with Ecraze and BLUPILL on “Squad Anthem.” It is a raw, gritty, and neck-breaking bass, immediately breaking the sound barrier on the first drop. Features are no shortage on the EP as the next track, “Ballistic” is a high-energy meeting of the minds with Decimate and Hyro The Hero. The trap-influenced beat features lyrics that awaken your shadow self and drop that could make a head spin.

Riot Ten is thrilled to share his work, stating, “I haven’t been this excited to drop a body of work in a long time. All of the collaborators took this to the next level and the response from fans so far has been huge. I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.” As Riot Ten continues to pave the way for bass artists across the industry.

Newcomer Emorfik graces the next track, “Tekno Music,” which is almost a tease for the ears. Musical whiplash that tickles the senses, in a good way. As collabs are no stranger on this EP, Riot Ten enlists the talent of Felmax on “Prepare to Die,” the vocals of the track are resemblant of early dubstep, such as “Internet Friends” by Knife Party.

Rounding out the EP there is “Supercharged,” where listeners get a taste of glory from the dubstep capo, Riot Ten. Featuring a massive collaboration with RZRKT and Bok Nero, this song does not play. Heavy, gritty, and not even the most botox can stop the stank face.

This EP comes before Riot Ten’s North American tour where he will hit cities across the US such as Portland, Orlando, Toronto, and Los Angeles. The tour will come to a head at Paradise Blue, Excision‘s curated festival hosted in Cancun on April 27th. Stream ‘Hype or Die: Ballistic’ on Spotify.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.
