Excision and SVDDEN DEATH Bring Out Marshmello at Thunderdome

Excision and SVDDEN DEATH surprised fans last weekend when they invited Marshmello on stage at Thunderdome.

On the final night of Excision’s Thunderdome, he and SVDDEN DEATH brought Marshmello out to shock thousands of headbangers at the Tacoma Dome. The two bass heavyweights had already caused commotion when they announced their back-to-back. They had taken it a step further when they invited the masked DJ to play.

Marshmello had shared videos of the trio on stage as they danced and performed. The three played several songs and confirmed that they had unreleased collaborations. On top of that, they had revealed an upcoming Marshmello and Excision track.

Excision officially kicked off his Nexus tour on February 2 at the Tacoma Dome for three nights of bass. The annual event has become highly anticipated and known for its solid support and heavy bass. From Wooli to Ray Volpe to Space Laces, this year’s Thunderdome was particularly heavy and full of surprises.

Marshmello has played with several genres throughout the years despite being known primarily for his mainstream dance music. He has recently been diving into more dubstep with the release of songs created with SVDDEN DEATH, HOL!, and more.

SVDDEN DEATH and Marshmello have been working together since 2019 when they released “Sell Out,” their first song. Dubbing themselves MELLODEATH, the two recently announced a tour with shows at Red Rocks, The Armory, and more in April. They promised to have music in the works and released “Ceremony” at the beginning of the month.

MELLODEATH first played together at EDC 2023, but this is the first time that all three have joined forces. Videos of Excision, SVDDEN DEATH, and Marshmello playing at Thunderdome are floating around social media, so be on the lookout for upcoming performance clips.
