Listen to HI-LO and Space 92’s Massive New Peak Time Techno Collaboration ‘GENESIS EP’

Techno giants Hi-Lo and Space 92 have teamed up again on their new EP ‘GENESIS.‘

The ‘Genesis EP’ is composed of two new songs from the chart-topping producers. Hi-Lo and Space 92 still occupy the #1 and #2 spots on the Techno charts. Their latest collaboration has finally arrived since their last time working together on the tracks “Mercury” and “Arpeggio.”

Oliver Heldens, also known as Hi-Lo, has garnered millions of streams and praise for his dark techno sound. Some of his earlier body of work inspired by the Greek Gods, was one of the first projects to gain a lot of attention and support from the Techno community. The pulsing bass and atmospheric melody weaving in and out of tracks like “Athena” made the tracks a standout on the dancefloor. 

The ‘Genesis EP’ is being released on Hi-Lo’s techno label HILOMATIK, the same label they released their first chart-topping tracks together on. Space 92 has become one of the biggest names in the Techno scene. Originally from France, his unique blend of techno, acid, and a mix of other EDM styles has made him a standout producer all over the world. 

“Genesis” is a fast-paced, pulsing peak into the combined world of Hi-Lo and Space 02. The track showcases Space 92’s love for percussion along with the fearless thumping bass echoed in Hi-Lo’s tracks. The second track “Orion” pulls back a bit indulging more in a more simplistic melodic techno sound that can still energize the dance floor. 

The traces of piano house and rave throughout “Orion” solidify the feeling of listening to music that takes you through a different universe. Given the skill and creativity of Hi-Lo and Space 92, the ‘Genesis EP”’sounds like another journey for the two to push the boundaries of what they have already done sonically. Both artists have expressed their excitement for this chance to perform these songs live this year. 

The ‘Genesis EP’ is one of many Both Hi-Lo and Space 92 have shows lined up for the year. Hi-Lo will be coming to Poland, London, Cologne, and Rotterdam to name a few. Space92 is already scheduled to tour his music around the world in cities like Barcelona, Cologne, and Berlin.
