Elderbrook Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Music Project

Elderbrook has highlighted the ten-year reign of his music career under his DJ and Producer alias, Elderbrook.

Elderbrook, the talented DJ, singer, producer, and Grammy-nominated artist hailing from the UK is celebrating his tenth anniversary in the music scene under his alias, Elderbrook. In those ten years, Elderbrook has pushed the boundaries of a singular genre with his fusion of house, techno, and sultry vocals.

Elderbrook gained traction in his career with his breakthrough single “How Many Times” in 2015, which showcased his ability to create a mesmerizing beat backed up by his soulful voice. Before his career in the EDM, Elderbrook was in the indie scene before he pivoted to showcasing his vocal talent.

It was his collaboration with Camelphat on their track “Cola” in 2017 that truly catapulted him into a higher tier of artist. “Cola” is still a worldwide dance anthem, that took over the charts and featured his stunning vocals, and highlighted the chemistry between the duo Camelphat and himself.

Elderbrook’s music often incorporates a variety of elements such as rhythmic beats married with unique arrangements, and most importantly, thought-provoking lyrics to create a soundscape that appeals to his fans and listeners on an emotional level. Elderbrook creates frisson at his shows with his ability to seamlessly blend beats with lyrics which sets him apart from other artists who came to age around the same time.

In 2019, he released his debut album, “Why Do We Shake in the Cold?.” The project solidified Elderbrook’s position as an artist with diverse talent capable of delivering a succinct album that both pushes and pulls the standard of EDM. His second album “Little Love,” was a tribute to parenthood and his joy of being a father. Elderbrook’s shows are also renowned for their energy and full immersion into sound. The ability he has to remain synergetic in his live shows and via stream is a talent, not many artists share, boosting his now 10-year reputation as a premier artist.

Beyond his solo work, Elderbrook has collaborated with various artists, such as Jungle, Rufus Du Sol, and Odesza. Congratulations to Elderbrook on a stunning decade in music, and here’s to what comes next!

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
