Carlita Gets Groovy With New Track ‘Cash For Love’ on CircoLoco Records

DJ/producer and Senza Fine co-founder Carlita has graced the airwaves with her feel-good new track “Cash for Love.”

Turkish DJ/producer Carlita is turning up the funk with her new track, “Cash For Love,” on Circoloco Records. The single single delivers a contemporary twist to the classic Italo disco vibe, a formidable addition to the renowned label.  The ninth gem in the Circoloco Records catalog, “Cash for Love” is a euphoric anthem meticulously crafted around a scintillating Italo sample borrowed from FPI Project’s “Let’s Go”. 

Carlita’s idea stemmed from her “deep-rooted love of the Italo house/disco sound from the late 80s and early 90s”.  Carlita’s new track joins an exciting trend paying homage to the sounds that shaped today’s dance scene.  For instance, techno titan Charlotte de Witte recently announced her new record label ÉPOQUE intending to honor 90s rave culture.

The track seamlessly fuses contemporary rhythms with a distinctly vintage break, perfectly its upbeat lyrics lending to a sound apt for both the jungle and the club. Moreover, it perfectly encapsulates the infectious energy and emotional depth that courses through Carlita’s performances. The Istanbul-born star has captivated audiences at major festivals such as Coachella, Burning Man, ADE, and Sónar Festival – certainly just the beginning in her meteoric rise.

Carlita’s rich musical background includes both early piano training and cello studies at the Royal Academy of Music. Unquestionably, her multi-instrumentalist compositional skills feed into her refined production style and eclectic range of influences in her music. Furthermore, Carlita’s continues showcasing her curatorial skills through her label Senza Fine, co-founded with DJ Tennis and now a NY Fashion Week staple.

“Cash For Love” continues a slew of successful Circoloco releases, including Mochakk‘s “Jealous,” Chloé Caillet‘s ‘Intro‘ EP, and Skream‘s club-storming ‘Attention Deficit‘ EP. The label’s hot streak continues with Carlita’s newest charismatic offering, surely starting 2024 on quite a hot note.

Carlita will celebrating the release by headlining Club Space Miami alongside DJ Tennis as Astra Club on February 3, 2024.
