Watch Skrillex & Boys Noize Surprise Fans with Dog Blood Reunion Aboard FriendShip 2024

Dog Blood’s impromptu mainstage set was one of many special moments for attendees of FriendShip’s fourth edition.

The 2024 voyage of Destructo’s FriendShip festival cruise has safely returned home, and 4000+ fans have taken a whole new crop of once-in-a-lifetime memories home with them. The Norwegian Joy ship sailed from Miami to the private Harvest Caye island in Belize and back to Miami in a five-night musical excursion full of jaw-dropping performances and scenic back-drops.

Perhaps the most memorable moment of all for many was the return of Skrillex and Boys Noize’s legendary duo, Dog Blood, in a surprise Tuesday night mainstage set. The duo threw down together for the first time since 2019, the same year that saw the release of their iconic ‘Turn Off The Lights’ EP. The impromptu set was a special treat for shippers on top of roaring headline performances from both Skrill and Boys Noize over the course of the long weekend.

Other headliners that brought the tunes for Friendship attendees this year included Chris Lake, Justin Martin, Bob Moses, Chris Lorenzo, Mersiv, and Rusko. All My Friends label founder Destructo performed multiple times as well, including his beloved ‘Sunrise Sermon’ set on Harvest Caye island and the four-hour ‘Last Man Standing’ b2b2b marathon set that caps off the festival every year. Boys Noize was on hand for the ‘Last Man Standing’ set as well, along with Justin Martin, Mikey Lion, Ardalan, and more.

Dog Blood’s reunion was far from the only surprise performance crafted for FriendShip 2024 attendees. Chris Lake hopped on the decks for a surprise b2b set with his friend Chris Lorenzo as well as a pop-up set of his own in the atrium. The ultra-unique ‘Dial-A-DJ’ hotline also returned this year, allowing lucky fans to experience intimate pop-up sets put on by their favorite DJs (Bob Moses, Mersiv, Justin Martin, and more) in their very own private cabins using custom mobile DJ rigs.
