John Summit and Of The Trees Tease Highly-Anticipated Collab

John Summit and Of The Trees have announced a genre-bending collaboration on a new single, leaving music fans across the board on their toes.

Each known for their trailblazing contributions to the music scene, this unusual duo is combining creative forces to push the boundaries of their craft.  Early into 2024, John Summit and Of the Trees exchanged thoughts on Twitter, resonating with their shared ability to switch up the vibes depending on their audiences.  More importantly, Summit further confirmed their future collaboration in the comments through this exchange.

Known for his experimental bass sound, Of The Trees has carved out a loyalty for himself in the overall electronic landscape. With a focus on testing the boundaries of bass music and exploring uncharted territories of sound design, Of The Trees continues to captivate audiences with his enigmatic productions. His talent has earned him a reputation as an innovator in the scene and a mainstay playing shows with no other than the bass queen Rezz.

Recently, John Summit took some rare time off in London to focus on making music for his debut album.  Summit shared clips from the studio with several colleagues such as Hayla, Camden Cox, and Stevie Appleton.  Furthermore, he even teased an unreleased collab with DnB icon Sub Focus during his record-breaking BMO Stadium show.

According to Of The Trees on Twitter, the track promises “way different vibes than… many folks would expect from either of [them]”.  Unsurprisingly, the public reaction to this meeting of minds has proven overwhelmingly positive.  Ultimately, the resounding consensus from fans is that this track is going to be absolutely unreal.

Given the explosive uptake of his recent single release “Hungover,” John Summit is undoubtedly cooking with heat in 2024.  Moreover, Of The Trees’ inimitable gift at producing raw soul-snatching tracks ultimately guarantees a recipe for success.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami’s venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music.
