Time Warp Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Biggest Lineup To Date

Time Warp set to host 30th anniversary festival featuring mochakk, seth troxler, pawsa, dennis cruz, marco carola, and more.

The renowned techno event, Time Warp, is set to commemorate its 30th anniversary with a two-day celebration on April 5th and 6th, 2024, at Maimarkt Mannheim. Demonstrating a profound understanding of the electronic music scene, the Time Warp team has once again crafted a distinctive program to uphold the festival’s rich history, offering a diverse lineup for this significant milestone. Attendees can anticipate not only exclusive back-to-back performances but also a special edition featuring a captivating program, innovative floor designs, and additional surprises.

The headline acts for the event feature an impressive array of back-to-back sets, with notable pairings such as VTSS B2B Anetha and Dax J B2B SPFDJ. Returning favorites making a comeback include Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Seth Troxler, Karotte, Sven Väth, Nina Kraviz, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, and Laurent Garnier.

Additionally, the lineup introduces new talents like Clara Cuvé, Indira Paganotto, I Hate Models, Kobosil, and Mochakk, among others. Notably, Speedy J and Laurent Garnier, both of whom participated in the inaugural edition in 1994, are making a return.

Time Warp made its first appearance on November 26, 1994, at Ludwigshafen’s Walzmühle. Only 2000 party-goers attended the modest event. Those who managed to enter the warehouse initially vanished into the thick fog of the party atmosphere. Robert Armani, frustrated by the overwhelming smoke, concluded his set after 30 minutes, paving the way for Laurent Garnier.

The French artist turned the first edition into a legend and remained devoted to it for the next three decades. Reflecting on the 20th anniversary of Time Warp, Garnier stated, “Time Warp is centered around getting people to dance.”

Over the past decade, Time Warp has consistently evolved and progressed. The production team collaborates with international designers. Every year, they develop fresh designs, setting unprecedented standards in technology and concept. They skillfully integrate music, light, video, architecture, and art. This results in immersive worlds where visitors can fully engage in the experience.
