Watch Diplo’s Art Basel 2023 Journey

Diplo made his way to Miami for another Art Basel celebration in 2023, DJing various parties and even showing off his net worth via an ATM that ranks you by your bank account balance.

Every December, all types of creators gather in Miami for a celebration of art and music. Diplo, a world-renowned Grammy-winning producer and DJ, wouldn’t miss Art Basel for anything. This year, his return included various DJ sets throughout the city, art gallery appearances, and being the center of attention for all kinds of other reasons. 

In this day and age, B-list celebrities like Diplo get their publicity through TikTok. Diplo’s Art Basel 2023 journey was well-documented, starting with a video of him using an ATM machine that “ranks each person by how much money they have in their account.” 

In a video, the artist is pictured approaching the ATM and receiving a first-place ranking, after the machine determined that he had “3,004,913.06” in the bank. Diplo had visited the same magical ATM the year before and said that he was back to claim his “#1 spot” this year.

In another TikTok video shared by French DJ Chloé Caillet, Diplo is pictured joining her at the decks mid-set. The two are seen mixing alongside one another for an intimate crowd in a small room somewhere in Miami. Chloé captioned her video, “pov: when Diplo randomly jumps in the booth during Art Basel.”

Throughout the Art Basel 2023 weekend, another TikTok video surfaced of Diplo DJing another party which appears even smaller and more intimate at the W South Beach. The vibes were pink lights, neon, palm trees, and disco balls–very Diplo-esque for the artist who is originally a Floridian.
