Cristoph Cancels Australia and India Tour Dates After ‘Extreme Ear Pain’

Cristoph reveals ear infection ahead of Australia and India tour.

British DJ and producer, Cristoph, has announced that he will not be making nine dates out of his end-of-the-year tour run. The announcement came on Thursday, December 7th, via the artist’s Twitter account. In a post, he wrote, “Since playing last weekend, I have had some extreme ear pain, which turns out to be an inner ear infection. I’m being treated, but I am unable to travel or be exposed to loud environments for the next 10 days at least. Sorry to everyone in Melbourne, Australia, and India. I will see you soon. Cristoph.”

Althought Cristoph won’t be able to fulfill his Australia and India shows, he’ll be able to finish off the year strong with a string of shows. He’ll be making appearances in Newcastle, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

In other news, 2023 has been a good year for Cristoph. He’s toured the world and put out several big music projects, some of which include his two part ‘FaCet’ album, alongside singles “I Will Find You”, “Come With Me” and “The Flute”.

Additionally, Cristoph toured all around the world making appearances at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world. Some of these many appearances include Creamfields, O2 Academy, Academy LA, Arc Festival and many more.

Recently, Cristoph also made several big appearances with the man himself, Eric Prydz. Cristoph opened up for Prydz during his HOLO residency at the #1 club in the world, Hï Ibiza. He also recently made appearances with Prydz in Brooklyn during his three-show run presented by Teksupport. The shows took place in the Brooklyn Steel Yard, which is arguably one of the biggest event spaces in the city.

Finally, as we begin to end 2023, we’d like to send Cristoph our best and wish him a speedy recovery. Be on the lookout via his socials for the latest updates regarding his tour dates, music, and more.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
