Michael Bibi is Cancer Free After 6 Months of Treatment

After months of aggressive treatment, DJ and Producer superstar, Michael Bibi has now been ruled cancer-free!

Michael Bibi took to Instagram this week to share that he has been ruled cancer-free! Bibi shared this momentous occasion with fans and followers alike on Tuesday, December 5th. After a strenuous battle with cancer, Bibi is now healthy and hopefully ready to tackle the world.

Early in the spring, Michael Bibi announced that he was taking a hiatus from music, which came as a shock to fans across the globe. Having battled Tinnitus repeatedly, which he had been very open with, many fans thought that his hiatus had to do with his ears. However, all were shocked when he revealed that he was battling a rare form of cancer.

Since then, Bibi has been in and out of the hospital getting intensive treatment to defeat the rare cancer that impacted his brain and spine. This cancer, CNS lymphoma, is quite rare and to rid Bibi of the disease it involved many surgeries and chemotherapy sessions that took course over the last 6 months.

Earlier this fall, Bibi surprised fans at the Solid Grooves closing party where he spun delighting those attending and all those who were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of him spin live on Instagram. After this surprise show, Bibi went back to England where he continued his treatment with the support of the industry, his fans, his family, and the new love in his life.

Michael Bibi never seemed to veer from positivity throughout his treatment, which was evident in the constant updates as well as his statement at the Solid Grooves Showcase earlier this summer. Bibi is a groover and the rave is where he belongs.

It was beautiful to see an entire industry surround Bibi with such support and love during this journey. From shout-outs, tributes, and remixes, Bibi had the entire dance community surrounding him with love, positivity, and determination. The entire world is so thrilled and excited for Bibi and his health and they are looking forward to the many good things to come to and from this musical mastermind!
