Maddy O’Neal’s 89-Year-Old Grandma Dances in VIP at Recent Show

Grandma can dance too! Maddy O’Neal has shown off her Grandma Dasha’s moves at a recent show in San Diego, California.

Bass music DJ and Producer, Maddy O’Neal has put on quite a show even impressing her 89-year-old grandmother who showed off her adorable moves from VIP. O’Neal took to Instagram to share the heartwarming clip of her Grandma vibing out in the VIP section at one of her shows in California.

Maddy O’Neal writes, “Peak life moment. This woman is 89 years old and rocking cat ears gifted to her from the crowd . 🥹 never though Gma Dasha would actually make it out to a set… that was a special one San Diego 🤍” This is all around cute!

More and more parents, grandparents, and children of artists are attending shows as of late. Earlier this fall Dombresky brought his father on stage for a heartwarming moment between the artists and his biggest fan.

This summer a video was posted where Peggy Gou was grooving with her mother on stage at one of her shows. At Coachella, Fisher’s mom and wife were seen riding the rail at his set with Chris Lake.

Every John Summit fan is maybe a bigger fan of his mother Tamara Schuster! Mark Kinchen brought his daughter up on stage for a Halloween set where she was dressed as her dad, MK. Seeing those who helped raise some of the biggest names in the game today feels intimate and like a look into the artist’s life. It gives a look into their childhood, their personal life, and their relationship with their family which is typically unknown to fans.

The talented Maddy O’Neal continues on with the wholesome trend, and is hopefully not the last! Older people can dance too – and especially those with artist daughters, sons, grandsons, and granddaughters!

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
