Beyond Wonderland Chicago 2024: What To Know About Insomniac’s Debut Event

Beyond Wonderland Chicago 2024 has officially been announced and is taking place in Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd. The two-day festival will be the first event since EDC Chicago in 2013 that Insomniac has hosted in the windy city.

Beyond Wonderland Chicago is the newest edition to the festival’s expansion since its inception in 2010. Initially launching its flagship in SoCal, the festival has spread its roots to audiences in the Pacific Northwest, Mexico, Colombia, and several locations on the West Coast including The Gorge.

Insomniac is famous for curating successful festivals around the world and Beyond Wonderland is one of the most enchanting of them all. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the Beyond Wonderland festival is meant to transport attendees to a psychedelic world, where they are immersed in the realm of color, culinary experiences, art, and more. 

Beyond Wonderland Chicago 2024 comes to light in collaboration with Auris Presents, Chicago’s premier dance music promoter. The magical world of Beyond Wonderland will feature artists from around the world performing EDM sub-genres like techno, trance, bass, and house. 

The festival will feature four stages that are all Alice in Wonderland themed including Queen’s Domain, Mad Hatter’s Castle, Caterpillar’s Garden, and Cheshire Woods. Although the 2024 Chicago lineup has not been announced yet, concert-goers are sure to be in for a treat as headliners in the past included names like Subtronics, Calvin Harris, and Kx5 among many others.
