EDC Orlando Maintains Status as Top East Coast Festival with 2023 Edition

Insomniac has exceeded all expectations after EDC Orlando Wraps up its twelfth successful year in the books.

Each fairy, house head, wook, and bass warlock attended EDC Orlando to celebrate community, spread love, share peace within the chaos, and unite as one.

Electric Daisy Carnival is one of those festivals that turns into a completely different environment once the sun sets down. The festival becomes alive, each stage awakens, the trees reveal themselves with an assortment of lights, and the creatures come out to play. EDC Orlando is fairy-coded, one hundred fairy percent

Upon arrival at the entrance of the festival, attendees start to feel a warm light that expands the heart once they are welcomed by Insomniac staff greeting everyone with positive and loving affirmations. As you enter Tinker Field, Neon Garden confidently lures dancing feet to the extravagent stage with its alluring and all-captivating bass building sexual tension between festivalgoers and the speakers.

Neon Garden had a stacked lineup filled with legends such as Dom Dolla, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Fisher, and Gorgon City. Club Space Miami hosted a massive takeover on Friday where legends such as Marco Carola and Carlita gave fans a run for their daily step intake.

Kinetic Field holds a special place in everyone’s heart who attends EDC Orlando. At any given moment, when tension or anxiety strikes, taking a look up at the mechanical woman embellished in the chaos in her all-natural glory. What makes EDC Orlando so special is the amount of freedom within each crowd for fans to frolic, wiggle it out, and immerse in the finest electronic music with no regard to being spacially aware.

Down at Kinetic Field, Fisher threw down a legendary set filled with growly bass and modulized beats that moved slow, steady, and undressed your body. Notably, Alison Wonderland threw down a memorable surprise techno set that certainly set the tone for her mainstage presence. We can’t forget the Publix Bros, Dillon Francis and Valentino Khan absolutely killed their set with a perfect balance between both of their sounds.

Circuit Grounds has an electrifying sound system and visual landscape that make dreams into reality for those who went to see iconic (and filthy) performances by Deathpact, Virtual Riot, Subtronics, and of course the king himself, Excision. The highlight set of the weekend at Circuit Grounds was Disco Lines making a sneaky sneaky debut into the bass world. The Denver native threw down every Wub in the Wook dictionary.

This year’s lineup served our hearts, eyes, and ears on a golden platter. Insomniac holds themselves in high regard when it comes to music festival production and it is easy to tell when walking throughout the festival grounds that it was created with intention, and moreover passion.

Tickets are now on-sale for EDC Orlando 2024.

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.
