Rezz Reveals Upcoming Collaboration with Illenium

Rezz turns to Twitter to unveil the news surrounding her new collaborative track with Illenium.

A dream collaboration is currently in the works between Rezz and Illenium. Immediately following the release of her latest track with NGHTMRE and DeathbyRomy, “All Night”, Rezz has already announced that this highly-anticipated collaboration with the just-married bass musician is officially in the works.

The queen of bass has been crushing it with all her recent releases, but this thrilling news is the cherry on top for Rezz and Illenium fans alike. This weekend, she has turned to Twitter to surprise fans with the announcement. She Tweets, “Guys. I’m on such a roll right now. I sent @ILLENIUM a song idea and he’s down for it.” Immediately after her Tweet went live, Illenium replied, “It’s sgoooooddddd” followed by three heart emojis.

In just two days, the Tweet has gained almost 165K views and 3.7K likes, with fans taking to the comments to claim their excitement surrounding this collaboration the EDM sphere didn’t know they needed. Some have even decided to name the duo “Rezzlenium” now that a collaboration between them is officially cooking in the studio.

Just before announcing this exhilarating news, Rezz had also previously turned to Twitter to announce a new sound and project coming in 2024. According to her, this new project will still be extremely bass-heavy but will offer a different artistic vision than fans are used to. What a coincidence that she sent Illenium this track idea of hers right after announcing that a distinctly unique Rezz sound is to come next year.

Along with the announcement of her new Rezz project, she also shared some bass music samples that are currently in the works via Instagram. Could this forthcoming collaboration between her and Illenium be one of the unreleased tracks she previewed on this Instagram post?

It’s safe to say that 2023 has been a monumental year for REZZ. From a sold-out Red Rocks show, the announcement of her own label Hypnovizion, her recent engagement to girlfriend Syd, and more, fans are ecstatic to hear that she will soon be releasing an electrifying tune with Illenium.
