Sneak Peek Inside Afterlife Producer Colyn’s New Tour Docu-Series ‘UNFILTERED’

Dutch DJ and Producer Colyn has released a trailer for his upcoming docu-series on his 2023 world tour.

While fans often get brief glimpses of artists’ tour lives through social media posts nowadays, it’s rare to get an in-depth look behind the curtain. This winter, Dutch techno producer and DJ Colyn will be providing just that with ‘UNFILTERED,’ a multi-part docu-series on his 2023 world tour.

The series will document his travels across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia and will feature his sets at Tomorrowland, Coachella, Street Parade, and Afterlife events in Ibiza, Miami, and Buenos Aires, amongst many others.

Colyn and his team have released an official trailer for the series, giving fans a little taste of what to expect. In the trailer, Colyn promises the series will show fans “everything that goes on behind the scenes,” such as “the dinners, the horrendous nights of sleep, [and] the banter with friends.” Among the friends that appear in the series are fellow DJs and producers Rufus Du Sol, Ben Bohmer, Monolink, Gordo, Innellea, Camelphat, Vintage Culture, and Afterlife founders Tale of Us.

The series will highlight both the positives of tour life (building friendships, scenic locations, experiencing new cultures) and the challenges (canceled gigs, delayed flights, popped eardrums). Videographer Arun notes: “There are not many professions that would exceed the variety in documentation than the life of an international touring artist. Every day of every tour has a natural buildup, which all eventually comes together in a moment of pure joy during the show… The idea was to make it feel like the viewer becomes part of the tour.”

‘UNFILTERED’ will debut on November 28th on Colyn’s Youtube page, with episodes of roughly 20 minutes dropping weekly thereafter on Tuesdays. Plenty of Colyn’s music will be featured in the series, including previous releases, exclusive edits, unreleased IDs, and even some original music that will never be released.
