Sammy Virji has quickly risen to the top of the UK garage scene, and with the release of his new single ‘If U Need It’ – it is safe to say he isn’t going anywhere. This uptempo track follows a hot streak that Virji has been riding as a pioneer and innovator of the UK garage Renaissance. The newly crowned “UK garage Don” continues to push the boundaries in the UKG space, especially with this forward-thinking banger.

For the past eight years, the UK-based DJ and producer has been building up a stellar discography as well as a reputation for unmissable live shows. Sammy Virji has recently gone viral thanks to yet another electric set he performed for DJ Mag in August.

With an organic blend of energetic music, animated crowds, and intimate venues, Virji has made a name for himself in the underground bass scene as a frontman in the UKG movement. Some of his accomplishments over the past few years include having a Rinse FM residency, monthly sold-out tours, collaborations with artists like Salute, Flowdan, and Conducta, as well as headline shows that tend to sell out in minutes.

Virji’s newest single, ‘If U Need It,’ was released on Postitiva/EMI Records, a legendary UK label that has been a feeder for EDM artists like Alesso, Sub Focus, Chase + Status, and Alison Wonderland over the years. The single is built around an earworm vocal and has an inextinguishable groove. The release comes at a perfect time as he heads back to London to headline EartH this Friday, November 17th. This show in particular sold out within 24 hours of general sale. 

He then heads off for his biggest Australia and New Zealand tour to date – ahead of his North American tour debut which kicks off February 2024 in California.
