Nicole Moudaber Recruits London Community Gospel Choir for New Goosebump-Inducing Single “Rise Up”

Nicole Moudaber collaborates with the London Community Gospel Choir to release the uplifting techno single “Rise Up” on Nothing Else Matters records. 

Techno music mogul Nicole Moudaber has collaborated with the London Community Gospel Choir to release her latest single “Rise Up.” The single has been released on the BBC Radio-founded record label Nothing Else Matters. The single pays tribute to the original single by Soul Providers, “Rise.”

The song opens with the soulful, contralto vocals from the London Community Gospel Choir. The beginning of the song sets the stage for the powerful percussion and synths that then proceed throughout the single. The soundscapes included in “Rise Up” are similar to the rest of Nicole Moudaber’s discography but with a newfound effort to honor another genre within in sync with her traditional techno-heavy sound.

Nicole Moudaber is a multi-faceted figure in the techno space. In addition to owning her own In The Mood imprint, she has worked on large-scale productions for Swedish techno label Drumcode and independent record label Nervous Records to name a few. She has been awarded several accolades throughout her career including the Best Minimal Techno Track award at the 2012 International Dance Music Awards. 

She continues to elevate herself by finding new ways to connect with the music. She has found ways to help people through her success with music through philanthropic efforts. Nicole Moudaber has supported the future of electronic music as an ambassador for the Association For Electronic Music in New York City. 

Her new techno anthem “Rise Up” has the lyrics and momentum to bring unrestricted positivity to the dance floor at any given moment in time. Nicole Moudaber is no stranger to creating a feeling on the dancefloor that shuts out any ongoing negativity of the outside world. At ArtsDistrict Brooklyn this summer, she performed an unforgettable techno set complete with captivating visuals and thumping bass lines.

She recorded “Rise Up” in her home studio in London. Eight members from the London Community Gospel Choir put their own flavor on the lyrics in the same studio. The song’s lyrics send a message of togetherness and perseverance through moments of lost hope to wherever you are in the world.
