Cristoph has struck once more with his new anthemic ep ‘Facet vol.2’

UK electronic music DJ/producer Cristoph has led progressive house genre with ‘FaCet Vol.2’ EP. Releasing two tracks at a time (starting on October 5th), Cristoph has created a well-crafted and far-stretching selection of songs. From melody-driven soundscapes to club-ready anthems, his music has set new standards for songs of this entrancing structure.

His subsequent drops on October 19th and November 2nd have further solidified his engulfing talent. In its entirety, the wide variety of sounds has shown the essential components of an inventive mix like ‘FaCet Vol.2’.

Spanning back to his childhood, Cristoph had revealed a precocious start to his DJing career. Sneaking into his local Newcastle club had inevitably platformed the Geordie to the biggest club in Ibiza, Hï. Masters at Work and Sasha & Digweed influenced Cristoph at an early age and have since set him on a trailblazing journey.

A breakout moment for Cristoph had come via the tutorship of YHot Since 82, aka Daley Padley. Between honing his craft on vinyl and having received support from revered labels (like Pryda Presents), Cristoph’s atmospheric productions had developed global acknowledgment. Now Christoph’s mouth-watering sets have brought him into the limelight of shows such as Tomorrowland, Arc Festival, Parklife, Ultra Miami, and EDC Las Vegas (and more).

The artist has channeled his release through many labels like Bedrock, Sura, Noir, Last Night on Earth, and Yoshi Toshi. 2020 had seen the DJ with prodigal talent join the Anjunadeep family with two seismic releases: “Big H 2020” and “SFB”. Presently, Cristoph’s own label, Consequences of Society, has offered him a space to release music at his own rate as well as to curate the progressive house genre.

He has managed to take yet another step in his career, as he collaborated with Camelphat on ‘Breath’. Cristoph’s bright future has reached a blinding effect, incessantly pushing himself beyond boundaries.

Like many others, I often dive into a variety of music genres and explore, as best I can, what resonates while I listen. For me, EDM is a dense subset of music with unique artistry and textured sounds - a facet of melody and tune that I will always investigate.
