Gryffin Says Red Rocks Show ‘Wouldn’t Have Been Possible’ Without Wife Steph

Gryffin has shared a video explaining how his Red Rocks show wouldn’t have been possible without his wife Steph.

Gryffin has returned to Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater on October 24-25 with openers Lost Frequencies, BUNT., and Lizzy Jane. The melodic electronic producer has shared a behind-the-scenes look at his day before the show and has revealed how his wife, Steph, saved him from a close call. 

The artist has always been known to wear his own jersey when he performs, and he was not about to stop doing so at his Red Rocks show. On Instagram, Gryffin has posted a video giving an inside scoop of what he did before playing that evening. The reel has also revealed how his wife kept Gryffin’s jersey tradition alive.

From starting his day by greeting fans and signing merch to heading to the venue for soundcheck, Gryffin’s video has shown everything leading up to the event. However, a common theme throughout the video has become prominent in the final moments before Gryffin takes the stage. With talk about the exclusive merch pop-up that the producer hosted earlier that day, Gryffin has discovered he forgot to save a jersey for himself at the last minute.

Just two minutes before he was scheduled to take the stage, the producer realized he didn’t have a jersey to wear. Luckily, his wife Steph, whom he fondly posts about often, rushed to the merch booth. Making it there and back before the show, Steph secured the last size large jersey just in time. 

In response to the video, fans on Instagram were supportive of Steph’s last-minute magic and Gryffin’s performance. One person commented, “yk merch crazy when even gryffin himself can’t get his own stuff.” Another person said, “In front of every great man is an even better woman. Steph!!!”

Not to mention, Steph has also revealed she had to pay for the jersey, which she was happy to do in this circumstance. Whether it’s saving the day or simply being supportive, it’s nice to know that Gryffin has Steph to help him and ensure the show runs smoothly as he continues to tour for a two-night run in San Francisco, EDC Orlando, Las Vegas, and beyond.
