BTS’ Jungkook Announces Debut Album with Features from DJ Snake, Major Lazer, and More

After his wildly popular “Seven,” Jungkook announces his debut album ‘Golden’ with more star-studded features.

In place of BTS’ hiatus, all members have embarked on their solo careers. The youngest of the group, Jungkook, also known as the ‘Golden Maknae’ (‘golden youngest’ in Korean), just announced his debut album ‘Golden.’ With features from dance music superstars DJ Snake and Major Lazer, listeners will be captivated worldwide.

After the BTS hiatus, Jungkook had a couple of different projects but did not see meteoric success until his debut single, “Seven,” featuring American rapper Latto. The song hit number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 and broke multiple streaming records. He followed this up with his second solo single, “3D,” which had a Jack Harlow feature. Shortly after “3D,” Jungkook announced his 11-song debut album ‘Golden.’

‘Golden’ is due November 3 and will feature the singles with Latto and Jack Harlow. The album will also feature Major Lazer on track two, “Closer to You,” and DJ Snake on track six, “Please Don’t Change.” The star-studded album does not stop there as it also features songwriting credits from Ed Sheeran and David Stewart, the mastermind behind BTS’ hit “Dynamite.”

While Jungkook’s debut album boasts some major collaborations, it will also feature six solo tracks. One of the tracks, “Standing Next to You,” is pegged as the ‘main track’ of the album and will be the next single, released with the album on November 3. The other tracks from the album are “Yes or No,” “Hate You,” “Somebody,” “Too Sad to Dance,” and “Shot Glass of Tears.”

Jungkook’s debut album ‘Golden’ will be about his golden moments as a solo artist. Out November 3, the album will feature some of music’s biggest names like DJ Snake, Major Lazer, and Latto. Following the release of ‘Golden,’ Jungkook will hit Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea, for a solo performance of his album.
