Memba Celebrates Receiving Green Card with India Tour Dates After Marrying Evan Giia

Memba’s Upcoming India tour is a go as Member celebrates receiving a Green Card.

One-half of Memba celebrates receiving a Green Card after years of waiting, which means the group will now be allowed to do a much-anticipated tour in India. After marrying fellow artist EVAN GIIA back in 2021, Memba member Ishaan Chaudhary has been waiting for his Green Card for years now.

Born in Delhi, India, Chaudhary moved to the U.S. in 2010 to attend college and has continued to reside here ever since. He started the Memba project alongside fellow member Will Curry in 2018, and they have released two studio albums since the group’s inception.

In their announcement on Instagram surrounding the news, Memba jokes about how they almost “died waiting for my Green Card”. With the new Green Card, Chaudhary will be able to come in and out of the USA without worrying about being deported or denied entry. This now allows the two members to tour more freely internationally without fear that they can both officially return back to America.

Chaudhary added an additional note in the comments saying, “When I lived in Delhi (during high school) I was dying to go to @sunburnfestival but my mum wouldn’t let me cuz it’s “too crazy” apparently. We got booked to headline the second stage last year – we were SO gassed. I called my mum n was like stopp me now lolll. but the greencard didn’t come in time so we had to cancel. Literal devastation.” Memba continues the post by expressing they have new music to show fans and, “how excited we are for these December shows / to meet u guys.”

Memba has been on tour for a good portion of the year and is in the final stretch of The Inevitable End Tour which ends on November 4th in Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s unknown if this particular tour will be continued abroad or if the upcoming shows in New Delhi will be part of a separate tour, but nonetheless, the group will shine bright on stage like they always do.

The duo has released quite a few singles this year with their most recent one being with the iconic Alison Wonderland titled “Fight or Flight”. In just 20 days, the song has almost reached 400,000 streams and is a testimony to the Memba sound fans know and love.
