Rare Odesza DJ Set Confirmed at Las Vegas Venue

ODESZA confirms they will play a rare DJ set in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve weekend at Resort World’s Zouk Nightclub.

ODESZA is doing something different this New Year’s Eve weekend. Known for their legendary live performances, the Grammy-nominated electronic music duo just revealed they will be playing a rare DJ set in Las Vegas at Resort World’s Zouk Nightclub on December 29. 

Throughout this summer and fall, ODESZA has been captivating crowds across the U.S. with The Last Goodbye Tour. The grandeur of their usual full band ensemble is renowned for its iconic drumline, horns, and high-energy euphoria. However, this New Year’s Eve, ODESZA will be switching it up in Las Vegas with a special DJ show.

Most who have seen ODESZA are familiar with the extent of their live performances. But few have experienced the intimacy of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight behind the decks without the bells and whistles. Earlier this year, the duo blessed Coachella’s Do LaB stage with a surprise DJ set and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Shortly after, they announced another DJ set at Aspen’s Belly Up in July. 

After their impromptu Do LaB appearance in April, fans flooded Instagram comments with requests to see more ODESZA DJ sets. One response said, “I have never wished I could teleport somewhere more in my life.” Another person commented, “I died a little inside because there was no livestream for this.” 

ODESZA’s DJ sets are gaining popularity because they offer a producer-forward perspective and fans are eager to see more of the duo behind the decks. And clearly, ODESZA is listening. Throughout their career, they have been lauded for genre-bending and continue to do so by fusing house and hip-hop into their DJ sets. On the other hand, they also recently released a collab EP with Yellow House, ‘Flaws in Our Design,’ which has heavy alternative influence and groovy beats.

Undoubtedly, ODESZA is always experimenting by collaborating with artists from a variety of avenues. However, with the raw talent of these two incredible producers at the forefront, their DJ set in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve weekend will be an occasion to remember.
