BLOND:ISH Launches New ABRA X Label on the Heels of Successful ABRACADABRA Imprint

Celebrating the launch of Abra X, BLOND:ISH, MAlóne, and Angel Dior set to release new single “AIO.”

Riding the wave of her successful ABRACADABRA imprint, BLOND:ISH creates her new record label, ABRA X. In collaboration with Angel Dior and Malóne, the label’s first release will be the three artists’ newest single, “AIO.”

BLOND:ISH created ABRACADABRA as an eco-friendly record label and event brand. Since its inception, the label has kept the party going by live-streaming countless hours of DJ sets on its Twitch account and continually releasing new music via SoundCloud. At the height of its success, BLOND:ISH wanted to create another label that focused on the “more techier and trackier sounds” than the “more Afro House and melodic leanings” of ABRACADABRA. And thus, ABRA X was born.

Before “AIO” came to be, Angel Dior, a music star from the Dominican Republic, released the Dembow hit “A I O,” which caught the attention of Miami DJ and BLOND:ISH collaborator Malóne. Being in Miami, Malóne, and BLOND:ISH saw Dembow’s influence everywhere and became very inspired by the track. After listening to the song, Malóne expressed, “I knew that it could be special and flipped properly into a big big groover for the festivals & larger dance floors this summer.” “AIO” has already become a staple in BLOND:ISH and Malóne’s DJ sets.

Already finding success in the Dominican Republic’s Dembow genre, Angel Dior has created multiple hit songs like ‘Piropi,’ ‘Ojos Ferrari’ and ‘Tamo En Nota.’ Even with his continued success in the DR, the international support he has received for this electronic music remake “has been very cool to see.”

After making waves in the industry with her ABRACADA imprint, BLOND:ISH sets out for a new adventure. Acting as the yin to ABRACADABRA’s yang, BLOND:ISH’s new record label, ABRA X, will celebrate its new beginnings with the inaugural release of ‘AIO,’ with Angel Dior and Malóne on Friday, September 15th.
